What the footage shows
This 49-second clip shows deep foundation work on steep terrain. A drilling rig lifts a tall cylindrical rebar cage and lowers it into a drilled shaft, the reinforcement that becomes a cast-in-place concrete pile once the shaft is filled.
Hillside piles carry structural loads down to competent soil or rock, which is why they are installed before the structure, walls, or outdoor spaces above them. The footage comes from the same hillside project as the retaining wall and finished pool clips.
